Iskut is located on the Cassiar Highway in northwestern British Columbia, 52 miles south of Dease Lake.

Iskut is a a small Tahltan Native community on the Cassiar Highway. Kluachon Centre Store on east side of highway has gas/diesel, a grocery, hardware supplies and houses the post office; open 7 days a week in summer. Camping and lodging available at Mountain Shadow RV Park. Ask there about seaplane sightseeing tours to Mount Edziza, Grand Canyon of the Stikine and Spatsizi Plateau; fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing.
